Minor
This release is about working with large processes in Discovery. You can now search a process by step name, owner or step ID and jump straight to the result. You can select several steps and act on them at once, and each step shows how complete it is before you approve it. Approved processes stay readable as a reference, and clicking a process card takes you straight to its Canvas View.

Discover

  • Search a process and jump to the step: A search control in the Canvas View toolbar finds steps by name, by the person they are assigned to, or by step ID. Matching steps are outlined on the canvas and listed in canvas order, and typing a step ID takes you straight to that step.
  • Act on several steps at once: Shift-click steps or drag a selection box to select several at once. You can then delete them, duplicate them or assign an owner to all of them in one action.
  • See how complete each step is: Every step now shows a completion percentage based on its fields, so you can see what is still missing before you approve it.
  • Read approved processes: Clicking a step on an approved process opens its details as read-only, including every field, its completion and its comments. If you try to make a change, you’re offered a one-click unapprove that brings you back to the same step.
  • Remove a connection between approved steps: You can delete a connection between two approved steps without unapproving them. Both steps keep their approval and completion.
  • Straight to the canvas: Clicking a process card on the listing page opens its Canvas View directly, fitted to view.
  • Your layout stays yours: The Organize steps action has been removed, so a single click can no longer rearrange a canvas you have laid out by hand. Existing processes keep their current layout.
  • Sort the process list: In List view, every sortable column now sorts alphabetically.
  • Stable step IDs in the markdown download: Each step in the markdown download now carries its unique ID instead of its position number, so a file built from it can be matched back to the process. The download also always uses the current process name.
  • Smooth canvas on large, busy processes: Processes with more than a hundred steps stay responsive while many people edit at the same time.
  • Chat updates apply to the whole process: When you ask Opus Chat to update Team Involved for the whole process, the change is saved on every step.
  • Accurate activity history: The activity log on a business process credits each change to the person who made it.

Build

  • Text extraction keeps the document’s structure: Extracted text keeps tables, rows and row numbers intact. Stamps and seals no longer bleed into nearby fields, and Arabic words are no longer split by stray spaces. (v2.9.1-002)
  • Set Reasoning and Verbosity from chat: Ask the Build chat to set an Agent step’s Reasoning and Verbosity, and it applies the change just as the Node Inspector would.
  • Paste text and images together: Pasting content that mixes text and an image into the agent chat now attaches the image as well as the text.
  • Descriptions for any input variable: Generating a description for an input variable works on large workflows too.

Govern

  • A clear bulk-invite confirmation: After a bulk invite, the confirmation shows how many people were invited instead of listing every email address.
