This release makes Opus easier to move around in and easier to hand off from. Global Search finds anything you can access across your organization, any discovered process can be exported as a standard BPMN file, and workflow activation now applies to a specific version, so the version you switched on stays the one that runs while you keep editing. The builder also picks up a round of quality-of-life work: a resizable Node Inspector, a searchable variable list, drag-to-reorder inputs and outputs, and images pasted straight into the agent chat.
Discover
- Migrated processes show their latest state: A process that was worked on in the earlier version of Discovery now opens with its most recent steps, details and approvals intact. (v2.9-001)
- Export a process as BPMN: Download any process from the Canvas View export menu, alongside PNG and SVG, as a standard
.bpmnfile that opens in third-party BPMN tools. The export carries the flow and structure of the process: its steps, their order, decisions and parallel branches. - Duration and Performed By explained: The Duration and Performed By fields on a step now explain what they are for and how to use them, right where you see them.
- Faster replies in Discovery chat: Opus Chat answers each turn of the process interview within seconds again, so the conversation keeps its pace.
Build
- Activate a specific workflow version: Activation now belongs to a workflow version. The version you activate stays live while you keep editing, instead of every autosave taking its place.
- Paste images into the agent chat: Paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard into the agent chat instead of saving it and uploading it. Pasted images behave exactly like uploaded ones.
- A Node Inspector you can resize: Drag the edge of the Node Inspector to widen it, or drag the dividers between Input, Settings and Output in the expanded view, so long code and payloads read line by line instead of wrapping.
- Search the Link Variable list: The Link Variable dropdown now has a search bar, so you can find an upstream variable without scrolling through every node.
- Reorder input and output variables: Drag input and output variables into the order you want. The new order is saved for everyone and keeps every value and link.
- Download Jira attachments: A new Jira integration action downloads the attachments on a given ticket into your workflow.
- Choose any model and run: Selecting a specific model on the Opus Agent node no longer holds up workflow execution.
- Copied workflows run their agents in any organization: An agent node in a workflow copied into a different organization now runs just as it did in the original.
- Shared workflows hold up under load: Large groups opening and duplicating the same shared workflow at once now each get a working copy straight away.
- Sub-workflows listed by name: Sub-workflow cards show the workflow’s name rather than its internal ID.
- Input and Output nodes stay in the chain: Input and Output nodes load connected to the rest of the workflow every time you open the canvas.
- A tidy Generate Agent button: The Generate Agent button sits clear of the prompt field and is only active when it can be used.
- Readable human task history: A human task’s version history shows what actually changed in each entry, with no duplicates.
- Accurate connection times on human tasks: The Connected At time on a task’s details page reflects when it actually connected.
Run
- Room to read sub-workflow results: Opening a sub-workflow from a case’s execution timeline now shows its input and output in a full-page view, so payloads are no longer cut off at the edge of a side panel.
- Manual cases with PDF inputs: Starting a manual case and attaching a PDF now previews the file and runs the case through to completion.
Govern
- Notifications that say what happened: In-app notifications for organization invitations, workspace invitations and role changes now say exactly what changed and take you to the page that matters: My Invitations, the workspace’s About page or My Roles.
- Refreshed invitation emails: The emails for organization, org unit, workspace and process collaboration invitations have been rewritten to be clearer.
Platform
- Global Search: Search across every resource you can access in your current organization and see results as you type, with the files you opened recently suggested before you start typing.
- One toast per action: Confirmation toasts appear once, and collaborators invited to a process now see theirs.
API
- Code API per organization: Code can now be created and updated through the API, scoped to an organization.
- Connect integrations through the API: New public endpoints connect an integration and return the IDs of active integration.
